Injyana Ensembles Rwanda

The Injyana organisation is unique in Rwanda, and consists of a community band, a jazz band and an orchestra - Rwanda's ONLY symphony orchestra!

We welcome musicians from ALL communities to come together and make music.

Injyana

Adapted from Kinyarwanda language, the word "INJYANA" means

"The music that is happening" or "the motion of the music"

Jazz Band

begins on October 30th 2018 (Tuesdays, 5 p.m.)

Symphony Orchestra

begins on October 31st 2018 (Wednesdays, 6:15 p.m.)

Both of these ensembles meet at Green Hills Academy.
